Al Jordan was a breeder of many species of exotic birds for over 20 years until he retired in 2005. Out of all the birds he raised including African Greys, Cockatoos, and Macaws, the Quaker parrots were always his favorite.
He and his wife Teresa wrote the first informative book on Quaker parrots which can still be found today on websites like Ebay and Amazon.com.
